Patient Visits

A Human Touch

Visiting patients with hereditary blood disorders is one of the vital services provided by the Oman Hereditary Blood Disorders Association. This service aims to offer comprehensive support and care for patients, whether they are living with thalassemia or sickle cell anemia. Beyond medical care, these visits provide an opportunity for psychological and social support to patients and their families.

Why Do We Visit Patients?

These visits reflect the Islamic values of compassion and benevolence.

They strengthen social solidarity and cohesion by engaging the community in supporting patients.

Visits offer comfort to patients and their families through continuous interaction and moral support.

They uplift patients’ spirits, contributing positively to their psychological well-being.

Join Us in Easing Their Burden

Visiting a patient is a Prophetic tradition and a cherished practice, serving as a balm for the heart and aiding in the recovery of the patient. Such visits are an opportunity to show care and attention, fulfilling a moral duty toward our fellow patients.

The Association provides opportunities for individuals to join organized group visits to patients with hereditary blood disorders. These visits aim to bring joy and comfort to patients through companionship, attentive listening, and encouraging words that enhance their psychological state. Participants help spread love and empathy, giving patients a sense of care and support from their community.
