Ras Al Hamra Golf Club is preparing to organize the “Charity Golf Tournament” on Friday, October 11th, in collaboration with the Omani Society for Hereditary Blood Disorders, with the aim of supporting the society’s efforts to improve the lives of patients suffering from hereditary blood disorders in the Sultanate.
This event comes within the framework of joint efforts to raise community awareness about hereditary blood disorders, such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, and hemophilia, and to provide the necessary resources to improve healthcare for these patients. All proceeds from the tournament will be directed to support the society’s programs that focus on providing medical care and social support to individuals and families.
Participating golfers of various skill levels will be able to enjoy a unique sporting experience, as the competitions will be held in a Texas Scramble format over 9 holes, with the option to register as individuals or teams. Two rounds of the tournament will start at 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM, with options for morning tee times. The event will also include a charity auction and dinner, giving participants an additional opportunity to support.
The society invites companies and individuals to participate in this event through sponsorship or tournament participation, as this event represents an important opportunity to support the society’s mission in improving the quality of life for those affected by hereditary blood disorders and raising community awareness about the importance of donation and support.
For its part, the Omani Society for Hereditary Blood Disorders expressed its gratitude to Ras Al Hamra Club for hosting the annual tournament, emphasizing that every contribution from participants and sponsors represents a significant step towards improving the care and support provided to patients, noting that this event is a model of impactful community collaboration that enhances efforts aimed at achieving a better life for those with hereditary blood disorders in Oman.
