The Oman Hereditary Blood Disorders Association’s Awareness Bus is a pioneering initiative designed to raise public awareness about hereditary blood disorders and the importance of early premarital screening. This mobile awareness project reaches communities across various governorates in the Sultanate of Oman.

Since its launch in 2018, the Awareness Bus has continuously evolved, expanding its services and impact through the incorporation of new technologies and enhanced educational programs.

Encouraging Early Screening

The Awareness Bus motivates individuals to undergo early premarital screening for hereditary blood disorders, aiming to reduce transmission to future generations and promote a healthier society.

Providing Opportunities for Questions and Guidance

Participants have the chance to ask questions, seek clarifications, and receive guidance and advice on hereditary blood disorders.

The Awareness Bus travels continuously across different governorates, from Muscat to Dhofar, organizing a variety of educational events, including interactive workshops, lectures, and awareness presentations.
